New Traverse Baggie Pairs Perfectly with Podiumwear Freeride Jerseys for a Complete Mountain Bike Team Kit

St. Paul, Minn - Podiumwear, the national jersey sponsor of NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association), unveiled the newly developed “Traverse Baggie” short at NICA’s National Convention in Duluth, MN last week. “We named the baggie after the acclaimed Duluth area mountain bike trail called the Traverse Trail,” said Podiumwear CEO Reid Lutter. “Since this year’s NICA convention was being held in Duluth, we figured it was the perfect time and place to unveil it. We had a great response from the leagues and team leaders and we’re really excited to see all the great designs our mountain bike teams will come up with.”
The Podiumwear Traverse Baggie features an adjustable clasp waistband system, three pockets for all kinds of storage, an extra-long 11.5” inseam and a tapered leg, zip fly with double snap closure, and a 2-ply reinforced saddle area. In addition, every part of the short, including the inner waistband, can be customized with the client’s design.
Podiumwear has worked with the NICA leagues, as well as competitive mountain bike teams and athletes around the country over the past year and a half to develop the ultimate full-custom baggie short. “It took some time to find the ideal fabric for this short,” said Kristine Larsen, VP Product Development. “It was important to us that the short be a full-custom piece, meaning that customers can add their design to every inch of the short. To accomplish this, the fabric needed to be the perfect combination of lightweight and durable, with amazing color saturation. We have definitely found it, she said. We are so excited about what we’ve developed and can’t wait for teams to try this short.”
The Traverse Baggie pairs well with the Podiumwear Freeride Jerseys, which are available in short sleeve, three-quarter sleeve and long sleeve versions. The Traverse Baggies do not include a chamois and are designed to be worn over Podiumwear Gold, Silver or Bronze bibs. View more details here: Podiumwear Traverse Baggie.
